The Washington Health Benefit Exchange (WHBE) Board will convene for a regularly schedu
led meeting this Thursday
and among other topics, will consider taking action on the addition of
family dental benefits to the Marketplace. Consumers shopping on the
WHBE prior to this point could only purchase child-only dental plans.
The board and separate Technical Advisory Committees have considered
adding adult dental benefits on several occasions over the past two
years. NADP has submitted comments to the Board urging the Exchange to allow for the offer of family dental benefits.
