NADP Recognizes Richard Jones and Crystal McElroy with Circle of Leaders Awards

NADP honored Richard Jones of Guardian Life and Crystal McElroy of MetLife with Circle of Leaders Awards at 2026 CONVERGE in Indianapolis on September 29. The awards recognized their contributions as outgoing members of the NADP Board of Directors, where each served for six years.

Richard Jones served as Board Chair and Vice Chair and as a member of the Budget Committee. His service also included chairing the Government Relations WorkGroup and participating in the Communications WorkGroup and Research Commission. Through these roles, Jones contributed to NADP’s governance, financial oversight, advocacy, communications and research efforts.

Crystal McElroy served on multiple nominations committees and chaired the committee in 2026. She also served as Chair and Vice Chair of the Commission on Advocacy Policy, served on the Government Relations WorkGroup and State Exchange WorkGroup, contributing to the association’s leadership development and policy work.

Both Jones and McElroy previously received the Don Mayes Leadership Award in recognition of their service.
