Online Portal Facilitates Purchase of Individual Dental Insurance

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis., April 13, 2022 – SKYGEN, the leading provider of software as a service (SaaS) and third-party administration (TPA) solutions for dental and vision benefits management, has introduced an online enrollment portal to meet growing market demand for individual benefit plans. The portal offers a step-by-step guided shopping experience for individuals to self-purchase and enroll in a benefits plan.

The individual enrollment feature is among the latest upgrades to SKYGEN’s Enterprise System, which provides SaaS benefits automation technology for commercial, Medicaid and Medicare Advantage payers across the specialty benefits industry.

Over the last 10 years, enrollment in commercial and publicly funded dental benefit plans has increased from 56% to 85%. Those seeking individual dental insurance increased from 24.4% to 28.4% between 2019 and 2020.

The portal is available as a web app that supports desktop, tablet and mobile responsiveness. It enables individuals to view and manage insurance plans, along with the following functions:

  • Manage account details, such as updating credit card information
