The year 2021 is ending. On New Year’s Eve, some people will celebrate the end of 2021 and be happy that it’s behind us because it was another challenging year. Many of us will celebrate the arrival of 2022 and hope for a less disruptive year ahead.
When it comes to NADP, I am proud of the progress we’ve made in 2021, and I am confident we will continue to succeed in our service to our members for the coming year and beyond.
Over this past year, a significant amount of critical thinking went into the development of our new Strategic Plan, which will guide us in the future. Following the presentation of the Strategic Plan to the membership at the October Business Meeting, our 2022 volunteer groups have been meeting, discussing the past, thinking about the future, and preparing operational and work plans in support of the Strategic Plan. I am looking forward to the Leadership Conference in January where all the groups will report on their plans for the coming year.
In addition to the development of the Strategic Plan this year, NADP has made numerous accomplishments on our behalf. This edition of the newsletter highlights the many ways NADP represented us in 2021 and the many resources the association provides to help us succeed.
