SNOMED
NADP Deputy Executive Director Timothy L. Brown represented the dental benefits industry at the SNOMED CT Business Meeting and Expo, Sept. 26-30 in Lisbon, Portugal. The SNOMED CT Expo unites clinical terminology subject matter experts from around the world, including government officials, health IT professionals, health practitioners, researchers, academics and vendors. NADP Volunteers also attending included Drs. Mark Jurkovich, HealthPartners, Sheila Strock, Delta Dental of IL, and Linda Vidone, Delta Dental of MA.
SCDI
NADP Informatics Manager Brian Flynn and Deputy Executive Director Timothy L. Brown served as the voice of the dental benefits industry during the American Dental Association (ADA) Standards Committee on Dental Informatics (SCDI) meeting, Oct. 10-12 in Chicago. SCDI develops informatics standards and technical reports to assist the dental profession with hardware and software selection, digital photography, interoperability, data security and more.
SKYGEN Summit
NADP Informatics Manager Brian Flynn represented the dental benefits industry during the SKYGEN Summit, Oct. 17-19 in Phoenix, Arizona.
