The deadline for potential revisions to the American Dental Association’s 2024 Codes on Dental Procedures and Nomenclature (CDT) is quickly approaching. NADP is encouraging our members to take advantage of our voting seat on the ADA Code Maintenance Committee by filing proposals via the NADP Codes Sub-WorkGroup (SWG) by Aug. 31, so they can be considered for submission as industry consensus proposals.
The Codes SWG will review the submitted proposals, discuss them among the industry, make recommendations on the next Codes SWG call and file the submissions before the ADA deadline.
Suggested changes should be submitted on the ADA CMC Procedure Code – Addition / Revision / Deletion form, available on the ADA website. The form is available for new codes, revisions to existing codes, deletion of codes, and changes to the categories of services.
