Through this announcement, the Dental Quality Alliance is issuing a call for nominations for the following:

DQA Clinician Level Measure Development Ad-Hoc Workgroup: This workgroup is tasked with exploring the development of validated practice- and clinician-level quality measures using both clinical and patient-reported data. The workgroup will recommend the DQA’s Measures Development and Maintenance Committee (MDMC) to develop core practice and clinician-level dental quality measures.

The workgroup will be composed of between five to eight members representing:

1. Subject Matter Experts (SME) with expertise in quality measure development, health policy and health services research.

2. Representatives of organizations that have access to clinician-level data (claims administrative or electronic health records data) to support DQA’s initiatives to validate any potential measures developed by the Workgroup.

The DQA Leadership anticipates the workgroup to be chaired by a member of the DQA’s Measure Development Committee. The term of the workgroup will end upon achieving the intended outcomes.

All work for this committee will be conducted over conference calls that will be scheduled regularly. In-person meetings may be held as needed to support the needs of DQA practice and clinician-level measure development initiatives.

Please send nominations by way of a letter of interest (including the perspective you represent) and a short biography to the DQA at dqa@ada.org by July 15.
