On April 24,
the California Department of Managed Health Care (DMHC) issued final
guidance regarding dental loss ratio (DLR) reporting. The DMHC has
updated its website to reflect a new posting under “Director’s Letters and Opinions.”

Pursuant to
Assembly Bill 1962, the Department and the California Department of
Insurance (CDI) are authorized to issue guidance to health plans and
health insurers subject to the provisions of the bill regarding
compliance with dental Medical Loss Ratio reporting.

2)      Attachment 1 – Reporting Form;

3)      Attachment 2 – Instructions for Reporting Form; and
