Dental premiums continue a long trend of increases well below the rate of inflation, with the average premium rising less than 1% in 2021 compared to 2020 premiums. In addition to the national average premium for 2020 and 2021, the NADP Dental Benefits Report: 2021 Premium reports the average premium per member per month and includes data by product type (DHMO, DPPO, Dental Indemnity), group size (Large, Small and Individual), and at the state level for 2021.
