Get Ready to Connect, Learn, and Lead at CONVERGE 2024!
As we gear up for this year’s CONVERGE, I’m excited about the opportunities it brings for us all. Whether it’s reconnecting with friends and colleagues, engaging in thought-provoking educational sessions, or exploring the latest products and services offered by the Discovery Zone exhibitors, CONVERGE truly offers something for everyone.
Volunteer Meetings
One of the highlights for me this year is the opportunity to drop in on the volunteer group meetings on Monday and to learn more about the incredible work they are doing.
This year, we’re doing something new—current volunteers can pre-register prior to CONVERGE to rejoin their current group and/or select a new one. Look for a Dental Interact post after Labor Day announcing that the volunteer application is available for current volunteers only. During CONVERGE, the application will be available to everyone in the event’s Mobile App and then in our September e-promotions. I strongly encourage you to consider serving on a volunteer group. It’s a fantastic way to enhance your membership and build a network of key industry contacts
Recognition of Outstanding Volunteers
We also take this time to honor our outstanding volunteers. During CONVERGE, we will present the Evelyn Ireland Volunteer Awards, the Don Mayes Leadership Award, and the Gabryl Award. I’m particularly proud to announce Christopher Williams of Guardian Life Insurance will receive the Don Mayes Leadership Award for his outstanding contributions to electronic data interchange and his leadership in growing the EDI WorkGroup. Be sure to read more about Chris in this newsletter.
This year, NADP has multiple Gabryl Award nominees – a testament to the high caliber of volunteers who advance the association’s mission. The Gabryl Award is a lifetime achievement award and the dental benefits industry’s highest honor. Our nominees are Dr. Craig Amundson, HealthPartners; Jeremy Hedrick, Careington; Dr. Mark Jurkovich, HealthPartners; and Kathy Larkin, DenteMax. Read more about our four deserving Gabryl Award nominees in this newsletter, and check out the exceptional contributions of our Evelyn Ireland Volunteer Awardees featured in the July Newsletter.
Longevity Recognition
NADP was incorporated on Oct. 5, 1989 – 35 years ago. As we celebrate our 35th Anniversary, we will be recognizing long-term member companies and individual members who have supported NADP for many years. During the Wednesday morning general session at CONVERGE, we will honor those with continuous membership milestones in five-year increments.
Thank You Sponsors
Lastly, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the sponsors of CONVERGE 2024. Your support helps to make this event a truly memorable occasion. Please take a moment to review the list of our 2024 sponsors in this newsletter.
