NADP Shares Medicare Advantage Map

As members of the Better Medicare Alliance (BMA), NADP is providing the newly released interactive online map representing data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) of beneficiary enrollment in Medicare Advantage, also known as Medicare Part C, by Congressional district.

 
The map reveals that enrollment in Medicare Advantage varies by state and Congressional district. Geographic variation in Medicare Advantage enrollment can be due to many factors, including existing insurance market factors, as well as specific characteristics of each state. The map also compares Medicare Advantage enrollment numbers by state and Congressional district to enrollment in Traditional Fee-For-Service Medicare and other Medicare Health Plans including Cost Plans, PACE, and demonstrations.
