NADP Press Release: Dental Benefit Choice Critical to Meet Care Needs NADP issued a press statement this month to release an infographic developed by the Commission on Advocacy Policy (CAP), which provides industry information and analysis on consumer out of pocket costs and premiums for children’s dental benefits. The analysis concludes children with more oral health needs would likely benefit from purchasing a separate dental policy, while children with less dental needs would spend a smaller total-out-of-pocket amount with a medical policy that embeds the dental benefits. Therefore, both types of offerings are necessary to ensure families the choice that best suits their dental and costs needs – on and off Marketplaces.
