Meetings
Oral Health System Pandemic Response WorkGroup
Representing
NADP, Executive Director Eme Augustini participated in continued
meetings of the Oral Health System Pandemic Response Workgroup organized
by DentaQuest. Through her participation, NADP is part of the
conversation regarding how to create economic and point-of-access
stability in the oral health care system, and to begin to envision what
the post-pandemic oral healthcare system will look like. At recent
meetings, key oral health system stakeholders have discussed:
- the inequities in our health care system and how COVID-19 has exacerbated these inequities,
- ideas for communicating OSAP’s document: Best Practices for Infection Control in Dental Settings across all 50 states, and
- the development of a public messaging campaign about patient safety and importance of oral health to maintaining overall health.
