Q: How do I submit my application for the NADP Foundation grant?

A: All documents must be submitted through the Application Portal on the Foundation Grants page. Please upload proposal documents in either standard Microsoft Word (.doc, .docx) or Adobe format (.pdf). Budget documents should be submitted in Microsoft Excel (.xslx) format.

Q: What are the requirements for applying for the NADP Foundation grant?

A: All details regarding requirements for the NADP Foundation grant, including the deadline, can be found on the Foundation Grants page.

Q: What types of organizations are eligible to apply for the grant opportunity?

A: All interested organizations are eligible to apply, including (but not limited to) universities, non-profit organizations, and oral healthcare providers, including federally qualified health centers and other safety-net providers that provide oral healthcare.

Q: Can my organization apply if it has previously received funding for a project from the NADP Foundation?

A: Yes. The NADP Foundation welcomes organizations that have completed projects with assistance from our grants in the past. Upon project completion, the Foundation requests grantees provide an update on progress and completion of proposed goals.

Q: What is the period of performance for the grant?
A: The RFP is intended for projects scheduled to be completed during the upcoming calendar year, January 1 through December 31. Your specific project dates may fall within a shorter timeframe if your project requires less than a full year to complete.

Q: What expenses are allowed or not allowed?

A: The NADP Foundation does not have a formal list of prohibited expenses. However, the attached RFP Budget template (which can also be found on our Grants information page) includes examples of approved expenses that may be included in your proposal.

Q: Is my project a good fit for this grant opportunity?

A: The NADP Foundation gives the greatest consideration to projects determined to be in closest alignment with the NADP Foundation mission statement: to promote research and education to improve the oral health of the population through access to and the administration of oral health services.

Q: What information is required to be provided to the NADP Foundation upon project completion?

A: Most projects include a final report summarizing the findings or outcomes of their work. The NADP Foundation also requests additional responses to questions regarding completion of proposed goals at the end of the grant period year to measure the value the project provided.
