The Government Relations WorkGroup has been diligently monitoring state issues, including the following Connecticut bills.
CT HB 6589, a network leasing bill, was signed into law on June 28. In March, NADP and industry partners sent a letter to the Insurance and Real Estate Committee to improve the bill. Two changes were ultimately accepted.
CT SB 1004 was signed into law on June 24. The bill allows children, stepchildren, and other dependent children to retain dental and vision insurance coverage under their parents’ insurance policies through the plan year of when the dependent turns 26.
