To maintain the integrity and quality of our communications, all submissions must adhere to the following standards. By submitting content, contributors acknowledge and agree to comply with these guidelines.

General Content Guidelines

1. Editorial Discretion: NADP reserves the right to accept, edit, or reject any submission at its sole discretion.
2. No Implied Endorsement: Publication does not constitute NADP's endorsement of the content. Contributors may not suggest NADP approval or sponsorship without explicit written permission.
3. Mission Alignment: All content must align with NADP’s mission, policies, and bylaws. Submissions that conflict with these principles will not be accepted.
4. Accuracy & Integrity: Content must be factual, clear, and not include unverifiable, misleading, or deceptive claims.
5. Professional Quality: Submissions must meet basic standards of clarity, grammar, and visual formatting. NADP may request revisions for readability, tone, or style.
6. Respectful and Constructive Tone: Content should promote constructive dialogue and must not disparage the dental benefits industry, competitors, or any products/services that support consumer health and safety.
7. Original Content that Avoids Self-Promotion: Provide valuable and original blog content focused on the dental benefits industry and NADP members, ensuring you hold the rights to all materials. Avoid self-promotion and specific vendor pitches, using generic examples of helpful tools and resources as appropriate. Do not make direct comparisons between companies, products, or services.
8. Proper Use of Names and Affiliations: The NADP name, its councils, volunteer groups, or member companies may not be referenced without prior written approval from the referenced parties.

Submission Process

• Contributors are encouraged to submit a draft version for preliminary review to streamline feedback and approval.
• NADP representatives will review submissions to ensure consistency with these standards and may suggest or make edits as needed.

Ongoing Updates

These standards are reviewed and updated periodically to reflect changes in industry practices and member needs. The most current version will always apply.
