Pennsylvania: HB 1664 Virtual Credit Cards
| On September 12, 2023 Pennsylvania Representative Greg Scott introduced HB 1664, which would establish virtual credit card requirements for dental plans. The bill conforms to the NCOIL model with the exception of the enforcement section (§ 4704), which outlines fine limitations and additional enforcement remedies under the Unfair Insurance Practices Act, the Accident and Health Filing Reform Act, and the Pennsylvania Health Care Insurance Portability Act. HB 1664 has been referred to the Insurance Committee. |
