Arlington, Va. – Dominion National, a leading
dental and vision insurer and administrator headquartered in Arlington,
Va., was selected by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) as a
regional dental carrier to offer dental benefits for the Federal
Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP) for a
second-consecutive seven-year contract.
Dominion is one of 12 carriers participating in the
program that makes dental benefits available to Federal employees,
retirees, TRICARE retirees and their families. Dominion will continue to
offer the only Dental HMO plan in the FEDVIP program to enrollees in
the Mid-Atlantic region in Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland,
parts of New Jersey, parts of Virginia and most of Pennsylvania.
Dominion’s DHMO dental plans offer in-network only
benefits that include no annual maximums, no deductibles, no waiting
periods, predictable and predetermined copayments and access to a
leading DHMO dental network. Dominion also offers its innovative
Prevention Rewards program where each family member enrolled with
Dominion who receives two cleanings during the plan year will be
reimbursed for their $10 office visit copayments made to the dentist at
the time of service (a total reimbursement of $20 per family member).
“We are beyond thrilled to continue offering our
cost-effective dental plans to existing and new FEDVIP enrollees,” said
Dominion President Mike Davis. “Our Dental HMO offerings continue to
provide great value while minimizing barriers to receiving dental care.”
