CONVERGE
Following the devastation of Hurricane Ida, NADP quickly transformed CONVERGE 2021 into an all-virtual event, delivered the week of Oct. 4, with content available through Nov. 7.
With more than 500 attendees and an impressive lineup of presenters and breakout sessions, Virtual CONVERGE 2021 was a tremendous success! With two online networking opportunities and three educational tracks, CONVERGE offered something for everyone.
Educational tracks included:
Strategic Business Insights Track: Learn more about small group retention and growth tactics, health disparities and opportunities to advance health equity, building win-win relationships between carriers and consultants, influencing state legislation and actuarial hot topics.
Technology and Innovations Track: Gain a greater understanding about the numerous technology developments affecting the industry – from rapid advances in artificial intelligence to advances in oral and overall health integration to real time adjudication.
Provider Relations and Care Delivery Track: Hear multiple perspectives on key industry trends, including teledentistry, Dental Support Organizations, impacts of COVID-19, delegated credentialing, and provider networks.
On average, CONVERGE sessions rated four out of five, with the following sessions scoring 4.5 and higher:
- Delegated Credentialing – Best Practices
- General Session: Future of Dental Care and Benefits Panel
- Closing General Session: Surveying Biden Administration Moves that Impact Oral Health and Dental Plans – sponsored by UnitedHealthcare
- Strategic Plan Overview Call (NADP Volunteers Only)
- Teledentistry Post-COVID – Will the Demand Continue?
- Tracking and Influencing State Legislation in 2021
- Dental Hot Topics: Actuarial Roundtable
Plans for an in-person event in 2022 are underway. Mark your calendars for CONVERGE 2022, Sept. 19-22 in Saint Louis, Missouri.
