Giving back to the cities that host CONVERGE
What is Community Care in Action?
Every year, CONVERGE brings the dental benefits industry together in a new city. Community Care in Action is how we leave that city better than we found it. Each year, NADP partners with a local organization in our host city to take on a hands-on service project during the conference. The project changes from year to year based on what the community actually needs. What stays the same is the goal: to turn our time together into real, lasting impact for the people who live there.
How it works:
Each spring, a volunteer committee of NADP members works with a local partner to choose the project, plan the logistics, and rally support from members and exhibitors. At CONVERGE, attendees and exhibitors take part on site. You don’t need to attend CONVERGE to get involved. Some of our most valuable help comes from members who plan, fundraise, and spread the word from home.
Our first year: Indianapolis 2026
At CONVERGE 2026, we partnered with United Way of Central Indiana to assemble hygiene kits for local working families who are struggling to cover the basics. Attendees collected kit items at participating exhibitor booths throughout the conference, and together we delivered kits to families in Central Indiana. Thank you to every attendee, exhibitor, and member who made our first year a success.
