NADP Meeting Policies

NADP Anti-Trust Policy

The National Association of Dental Plans is committed to adhering strictly to the letter and spirit of the antitrust laws. Events conducted under NADP’s auspices are designated solely to provide a forum for the expression of various points of view on topics identified by the Association. Under no circumstances shall NADP events or membership be used as a means for competing companies to reach any understanding, expressed or implied, which tends to restrict, allocate, blacklist, and/or otherwise coordinate competition. Members must exercise independent business judgment regarding matters affecting competition.

NADP Confidentiality Policy

Documents, discussion, and other proceedings (collectively referred to work “Work Product”) within the Board of Directors (the “Board”) and other volunteer groups are the property of the National Association of Dental Plans (NADP) and can only be used by NADP and its member companies for purposes consistent with the charge of the workgroup. Sharing NADP Work Product outside of NADP and its member companies is contrary to the interests of NADP and its members and a violation of this policy. Breaches of this policy will be investigated. Commensurate with the severity of the breach, the Board may choose to remove the individual(s) from NADP workgroups or other volunteer positions, remove individuals or their company from NADP membership, and/or consider applicable legal remedies.

AI Notetaking and Recording Tools Prohibited at Meetings

Following a resolution approved by the NADP Board of Directors in January 2026, the use of AI-powered notetaking or recording tools is not permitted during NADP meetings. This applies to NADP board, committee, work group, task force, and sub-work group meetings. This is intended to safeguard member input and information under the NADP anti-trust statement and confidentiality policy listed above. It is also consistent with the existing policies of associations with whom we regularly interact.
