DESCRIPTION:NADP Consortium Session #1: Nuts & Bolts of MLR Reporting\nIn this kickoff session to the Consortium series\, Scott Jones and Joanne Fontana of Milliman will provide critical background and context on dental minimum loss ratios.  Following a quick conceptual refresher on loss ratios\, they will explore medical plan reactions to and experience with minimum loss ratio regulation under the Affordable Care Act.  They will then apply those lessons learned to the dental insurance market\, providing insights to consider as dental loss ratio regulations proliferate.  The session will wrap up with a review of the current landscape of dental loss ratio regulations and the recently promulgated NCOIL model law. \nSpeakers from Milliman: \n\nJoanne Fontana\, FSA\, MAAA\nMaureen Tressel Lewis\, MBA\nScott Jones\, FSA\, MAAA
