But the term is imprecisely understood and applied. Myths co-mingle with facts because we lack a common foundation for discussing value-based care and reimbursement. This webinar\, which follows up on a presentation to the Dental Quality Alliance earlier this year\, is meant to provide NADP members with a common foundation for considering value-based reimbursement; it will also survey some successful value-based pilots to date. Finally\, the presentation will also offer a clear-eyed discussion of the barriers to the widespread adoption of value-based reimbursement in dental care. Following the presentation\, lead presenter\, Mike Adelberg\, NADP’s Executive Director\, will be joined by Dr. Linda Vidone and Dr. Mark Jurkovich\, for a pointed discussion of the topic.
