National Association of Dental Plans Foundation

Purpose
The NADP Foundation was formed for charitable and educational purposes including, without limitation, to improve consumer access to affordable, quality dental care through dental benefit plans by research, education, fact finding, and the dissemination of knowledge, and to advance the state of dental health care delivery and lessen the burdens of government by formulating standards and proper courses of treatment for dental disease and conditions that can be adopted by providers, dental benefit plans, and plan fiduciaries. 

History
The NADP Foundation was established in 1996 by the National Association of Dental Plans.

Structure
The NADP Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt foundation whose Board of Directors is appointed by the National Association of Dental Plans.  Evelyn F. Ireland, CAE serves as the NADP Foundation's President.
