Recognizing the importance of limiting dues increases in a difficult market environment, NADP’s Board amended the dues structure to assure the impact of dues changes is similar for all dues categories of dental plan membership. The Board increased dental plan dues for 2009 by only 1.5% for all voting member dues categories.

The Board’s action limits future changes in all voting member dues categories to the previous calendar year’s change in CPI-All Items/Urban Consumers. Since dues rates are set mid-year, this means that the CPI for 2007, i.e. 2.847%, was the outer limit for 2009 changes.
