Dominion National Donates Mouth Guards To Local Mid-Atlantic Youth Sports Organizations

by Dominion National | Jun 07, 2017
Dominion National, a leading dental insurer and administrator of dental and vision benefits headquartered in Arlington, Va., today announced it has donated mouth guards to local youth sports organizations throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

Mouth guards help reduce the rate of concussions and cushion impacts that can cause broken teeth, jaw injuries or cuts to the lip and tongue. According to the American Dental Association, an athlete is 60 times more likely to harm their teeth when not wearing a mouth guard.

“While it’s a big part of our mission to encourage routine dental visits, we can also provide resources to help prevent emergency dental visits,” said Dominion President Mike Davis. “We’re excited to support our community and help protect our youth from athletic injuries.”

Dominion donated mouth guards to Mid-Atlantic organizations including:
  • Delaware
    • Pop Warner Leagues in Delaware
  • Maryland
    • Patterson Park Youth Sports & Education
    • Volo City Kids Foundation
  • Pennsylvania
    • Leprechauns Youth Sports Association
    • Youth Achieving Project, Inc.
  • Virginia
    • Arlington Youth Football Club
    • i9 Sports Association – Chapter 307, Inc. and Henrico/Hanover
    • Norfolk Saints Athletic Association (Pop Warner)
